8th November 2019 witnessed records tumbling at the McLean Park, Napier, as England registered their highest score ever by smashing 241 runs for the loss of three wickets.

Dawid Malan and skipper Eoin Morgan stitched a crucial 182 in 74 balls for the third wicket to propel the visiting side to a mammoth first innings total. It was the highest third-wicket partnership in the history of the game and enabled England to draw level in the series.
Coming in at number four, Morgan scored a destructive 91 off 41 deliveries, his highest score in T20 internationals. The knock was studded with seven boundaries and seven maximums and helped the team register a comprehensive 74 runs win.
85* vs South Africa in 2009
In early days of his international career, Eoin Morgan played one of his finest innings by scoring an unbeaten 85 at the Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg, against South Africa.
The innings showcased his immense ability to absorb the pressure and was one of the most defining moments of his career. Along with then skipper Paul Collingwood he stitched a 98 run stand for the 4th wicket.
In a rain-interrupted game, his destructive innings helped the England side win by a solitary run by Duckworth Lewis method.
80* vs New Zealand in 2018
Eoin Morgan produced yet another masterclass against New Zealand in 2018 at Seddon Park, Hamilton, scoring an unbeaten 80 to set up the first innings.
After being asked to bat first, the visiting side was in trouble at 24 for 2 in 3.1 overs. However, despite the initial jitters, Morgan continued to lead from the front and play his aggressive brand of cricket.

The southpaw smashed an unbeaten 80 off 46 deliveries with four boundaries and six massive hits over the fence to guide England to 194 for the loss of seven wickets.
He was adjudged the player of the match for his crucial knock that enabled England to edge past the Kiwis by two runs.
