Following a 1-0 series win over England on Sunday, New Zealand have dethroned India as the No. 1 side in ICC Test rankings. They now have two points more (123) than India (121) in the list.
NZ registered their first away series in England since 1999 after clinching an 8-wicket victory at Birmingham.

Australia and England are positioned at No. 3 and 4 respectively.
New Zealand's leap came right before the World Test Championship Final against India, which will get underway on June 18, and this upsurge may prove to be a morale booster for the Kiwis.
