India are just a week away from entering the final of the World Test Championship! As India's rivals New Zealand warm themselves up for the Test with relevant match practice against England, India, too, have started doing their bit to get acclimatised to the conditions. Friday, June11, marked their first day of a 4-day intra-squad practice match at Southampton.

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) posted on their social networking site, sharing visuals of the match. They wrote, "Excellent setting for an intra-squad match simulation here in Southampton. #TeamIndia" on their Twitter handle.

BCCI also shared a video where Cheteshwar Pujara, Jasprit Bumbrah, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill and many others could be spotted in action.

Earlier on Friday, the Indian players had an intense net session where the likes of Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant and Rohit Sharma were seen getting "into the groove" with the bat.

India will take on NZ at the Ageas Bowl, Southampton, in the final from June 18-22.
