A few more notable benefits of the ‘Runs to Roots’ initiative in strengthening natural ecosystems, particularly mangroves, to protect against climate change impacts and soil erosion. The initiative will also be beneficial to educate communities on the benefits of tree planting and environmental stewardship.

KKR Co-owner, Juhi Chawla expressed her pride and joy in this initiative: "Incredibly proud of KKR and our team of volunteers. When we unite for a good cause even the heavens are pleased. In time, these trees will grow strong and tall, bearing fruit and bringing calm and joy to all. Our goal this season is to plant 2667 trees, the number of runs scored by our KKR champions. Best wishes to everyone involved.”
