The all-explosive Tim Seifert will be ending 2020 with his career-best T20I ranking as per the latest ICC release. The Kiwi wicketkeeper-batsman amassed the highest number of runs (176) in the three-match T20I series against Pakistan which saw him take a leap of 24 places to break into the top 10. He is currently stationed at No. 9 with 685 points just below countrymate Colin Munro (695).

Seifert had a great run in the home series, with a memorable 84* off 63 balls in the second T20I at Hamilton that led his team to a 9-wicket win. During the knock, he equalled his previous best of 84 that he had scored against India last year.

He also had scored a fifty (57) in the first T20I at Auckland. The dynamic opener bagged the Man of the Series Award for his outstanding contribution.

Seifert, who had joined KKR earlier this year, had a previous best ranking of 32nd earlier this year.
