A young prodigy from Afghanistan, Mujeeb developed a taste for cricket, while watching the 2012 T20I World Cup and that is where his journey in cricket began. He discovered his aptitude for spin bowling and learned how to bowl off-breaks and carrom balls too. Mujeeb rose through the ranks to represent Afghanistan at the young age of just 16. He was named Rashid Khan's apprentice in the team, but he handled the pressure nicely and was well groomed too.
Mujeeb's skill and his ability to reinvent his methods time and again helps him get consistent success at the highest level. Despite having many variations with the ball, Mujeeb has always been able to have a lot of control and has turned games purely through being economical. By being an excellent asset for Afghan cricket and a great team man, Mujeeb has carved out his own special place in any side he plays.
The mystery spinner's addition to the KKR adds a lot more depth to the ever impressive spin bowling contingent. Mujeeb will have the chance to play alongside a legendary mystery spinner Sunil Narine. With Mujeeb's addition KKR has become a mystery spinner factory with 3 of the most quality spinners. All in all, an exciting journey to look forward to for both Mujeeb and KKR.
