Ramandeep Singh, an all-rounder hailing from Punjab, has made quite the name for himself around the cricketing world. With his fierce ball-striking along with some sensational medium-pace bowling, Ramandeep has made waves throughout the domestic circuit. Born on April 13 1997, in Chandigarh, Ramandeep came up the ranks quite early in his age. His unique skill set powered him to become an important figure in any team he represented.
Ramandeep made his domestic debut vs Haryana in 2017, as he took up the role of a lower middle-order striker along with being a pacer who his captain could turn to in important situations. Ramandeep came into limelight when he put his ball-striking abilities on show against Odisha, where he scored a quick-fire half century off just 23 balls. Ramandeep continued to impress everyone with the ball, by picking up a hattrick and a fifer against Baroda in 2022-23 Vijay Hazare Trophy. Despite being a legitimate six-hitter, he displayed quality in his technique and a great temperament. As far as the bowling skills were concerned, he usually operated in the crucial middle overs phase, taking the pace off the ball & making it difficult for the batters to hit him.
Ramandeep commences a fresh journey with KKR in the IPL 2024 season as his addition to the squad will help the Knight Riders in multiple ways.
